DRAFT, NOT YET REVIEWED BY A LAWYER. This text is a placeholder so the product can be built and tested. It must be reviewed and completed by a Philippine lawyer before Sandbox POS is offered to other businesses.

Terms of Service

Draft version 0.1, 18 October 2026. [Lawyer to review: company name, address, registration details.]

1. Who we are

Sandbox POS ("we", "us") provides point-of-sale and back-office software as an online service. [Lawyer: legal entity, DTI/SEC registration, business address.]

2. Your account

  • You must give correct information when you sign up and keep your password safe.
  • The person who creates a business is its owner and is responsible for who they invite and what they do.
  • You must be at least 18 and allowed to enter into contracts in the Philippines.

3. Plans, trial and payment

  • New businesses get a free trial. When it ends, the business moves to the Free plan unless a paid plan is chosen.
  • Paid plans are paid in advance, monthly or yearly, in Philippine pesos. Prices are shown on the Billing page.
  • If a payment is late, you have a grace period of 7 days. After that the Back Office becomes read-only until you pay. Tablets keep working and keep uploading sales already made.
  • [Lawyer: refunds, taxes (VAT/percentage tax), official receipts for subscription fees, price changes notice.]

4. Your data

Your business data belongs to you. You can download all of it at any time (Back Office → Your data). See the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Terms.

5. Acceptable use

  • Don't use the service for anything illegal, or to break into or overload it.
  • Sandbox POS receipts are for internal use. They are not BIR-accredited official receipts or invoices.

6. Suspension and closing

  • We may suspend a business that breaks these terms or stays unpaid. We will tell you why.
  • You can ask to delete your business at any time. We wait 30 days so you can change your mind, then delete its data.

7. Availability and liability

We work to keep the service running, but cannot promise it will never be interrupted. The tablet app keeps selling without internet. [Lawyer: warranty disclaimer, limitation of liability, force majeure, governing law (Philippines), venue.]

8. Changes

We will tell owners by email at least 30 days before an important change to these terms.

9. Contact

[Lawyer/owner: support email and address.]
